What is Thai massage?
Thai massage is a connection between traditional massage schools from Thailand, China and India. Some say, that Thai massage comes from Thailand itself, when it was called traditional or ancient. For certain, we can presume it’s origins date from 2500 years ago. It has „roamed” to Europe quite recently, getting fans very quickly, because of it’s anti-stress and pain-relieving qualities.
Divided into pieces Thai Massage consists of Hindu ajurveda, Chinese yoga, ancient Egyptian reflexology, as well as tactile and pressurizing techniques such i.e. Japanese shiatsu and acupressure (Chinese way of natural medicine which assumes touching, stroking, pressurizing, and poking precisely chosen spots on the body). Main role of Thai massage is to regain harmony of the organism.
Apart from the above Thai massage, equipped in modern enhancements like aromatherapy and music therapy, becomes an efficient way of relieving pain, stress, overwork syndrome and even burnout.
